国庆之后的第七天，这个地方造了我，从此一个独立的生命，名字叫歌者。

今年，国庆之后七天的今天，我又生日了。且是特别的不一样，因为，在激荡、另类音乐人、海螺之后，我又在老歌里单飞了一些年，今年已是15周年。

所以，乘着独立跫音还近，经典迴音不散，我要在这个富有纪念性的9月7号，我的生日，再发一个熟悉的美梦，再许一个不老的心愿，祝你美丽，祝我长青。

愿与你物物交换，礼上网来，我送你一杯美味的本土Kopi，你campur我一点滋养的susu，这样， 我的梦想就有了个伴，不会太孤单。

It was the 7thday of Independence, that in this land my existence began, and from that moment it had been an independent life, the life of a vocalist.

This year, on the 7th day of Independence, falls my birth day once more. Yet it feels different this time, for after having been part of "KITA", "Alternative Music House" and "HALO", I had dived into a solo career in the breathing new life into old classics. This year marks the 15th Anniversary of that solo career. 

The passage of time always surprises us, the 15 years felt like a long time. And so, today, amidst the sounds of the marching parade of Independence and while the familiar songs still hangs in the air. On this memorable September the 7th, I would like to dream that familiar dream, to make an ageless wish, to wish that beauty follows you wherever life finds you and to wish I have the sustenance of the evergreen.

Here I wish to make an exchange with you, one for one. I offer you an aromatic cup of locally brewed Kopi, and you pour in that splash of rich Susu, with that my dream find a companion and solace from its loneliness.

So, would you join me to "Cham, Cham, Cham"?

This cup of Kopi, is blend of local flavours, its aroma caught on the Southern breeze. Let us conserve and retain these flavours and aromas in song, for these songs, each and every one of them are marks in the Nanyang history, and have become a part of your story, my story, our story.I ask not to be written into the Annals of history, I only ask that you treasure them, let our music sustain and never fade.

如Hitam Manis的南国美女，当年新马两地传唱的歌曲，歌名已是极有代表性的一杯参，咖啡 + 奶 + 糖再 +++，混杂的味道。友弟加写新词，再混一次。

Songs Background : 

A compilation variety of songs drawn from of popular songs of the 50s and 60s Malaya,

Pre and Post Indepence, with a blend of Westernize Mandarin songs, Mandarin Adapted English songs, Malay Pop Songs of the ere, translated Pop Song of the era as well a well known NanYang songs.

Main Theme : KOPISUSU

Based on the song "Hitam Manis", well known in Malaysia-Singapore, that tells of the charms of Southern girls with the allegory of a cup of Black Coffee and sweet sugar,
KOPISUSU is a rework with new lyrics written by Yudi.

KOPISUSU Cham Cham Cham CD专辑的录制和生产，需要RM50,000, 你预购或投资的每一分钱，肯定都会用得上，都能舒缓音乐制作上的资金压力。所以，你的积少成多，都是这杯Kopi滋养的Susu，也是送给友弟最实际的一份礼。
友弟还以和郑泽相自资制作的《情。调》专辑，以及妈妈亲手做的、最好吃的传统手工椰子糖，真真Kurang manis tambah gula，以特优价或免费回报你盛情，都是很滋味的成果，购足一定额数，友弟就去约你喝咖啡，一张台四只脚，一杯咖啡来继续做梦。
也许会有MV，在考虑中，拍MV，是另一笔钱，如有，将会是另一回事，如同11月27日-30日的KOPISUSU重演，又是另一回事。当然，无时无刻欢迎你，慷慨大方的资助，真的不是要你来捐，而是一起协力，完成梦想美事，况且这还是一张，特有意义的专辑。
对友弟来说，这是一段15年音乐旅程的代表作，在国庆生日之时，为本地音乐做记录翻新传唱的歌辑。 如今唱片业暮色西山，自资出版在如今市道如玩火，但就是这把火，让友弟热了这么久，愿意继续的相信，敢敢的付出。

Re-arranged into Jazz, Modern and yet carries the Nan Yang ChamCham flavour, a rarity in today's audio market.

We will do our best, and you provide the sustenance. Support a local music ideal, and ideals.

The production costs of the "KOPISUSU Cham Cham Cham" Compilation CD  amounts to RM 50,000. With your every investment, your every purchase and your support, it will lighten our economic pressure in producing this album. 

In return, we shall be pleased to reciprocate your kind consideration with discounted price or free gift including a previous CD "Shades of Passion", a collaboration of Yudi and Tay Cher Siang, Yudi's mother's handmade coconut sweets - truly added sweetness without extra sugar; or perhaps we can all sit down together, have a cup of coffee and dream of more cups of Kopi.

We might plan to have Music Videos, but that is in the planning stages as it will required further investments - but that shall be another matter; just as the upcoing KOPISUSU restaging on the 27-30th November is also another matter.

Of course, if at any time you feel you would like to contribute in any way, we will be most appreciative. We are not looking for merely donations but we invite you to come collaborate with us to make real this dream; a meaningful dream.

For Yudi, this shall be a milestone in her 15 years journey in the local music industry, to make anew these distinctive local music in conjunction with our country's independence day. In today's climate of Album making, some say twilight era, producing a self funded album is akin to playing with fire. However, it is this fire that has sustained Yudi's faith to carry on, and to brave these times in producing a self-funded CD.
